Hyundai Gateway Bypass

Introduction

On some cars - notably the i20N, the gateway blocks all communication on the CAN ID's that the logger requires. Unlocking the SGW does not seem to have an effect and since flash tools do not allow writing the complete content of the CPEGD3 ECU, it is not possible to write a patch. Hence a hardware solution is required.

The EM11 Connector

On all HMC/KMC cars there is a Front Harness to Main Harness connector, that also carries the PCAN.
